The Art of Healing exhibition is being held in the specimen hall of the Museum of Medical History at the Charité. As a deliberate intervention, the works of contemporary Indigenous artists from Australia open up a completely different perspective. Born, raised, and at home in their diverse communities, the artists are absorbed in their local cultures of remedies and healing. By visualising their rich and beautiful world of healing plants, they point to a healing tradition which is tens of thousands years older than that of the West. This exclusive viewing will include a short lecture from Museum Director, Prof. Schnalke, a tour of the exhibition and networking over drinks and refreshments.
