For the first time with European Business, pack your picnic basket, gather the family and join us on the beautiful Heide grounds for a lovely day with food and art. The picnic will be followed by a guided tour of the Mirka Moira exhibition in the Heide Museum of Modern Art. This event is different to the ones we normally have and we look forward to sharing this new experience with you.
Mirka Moira was a French-born Australian artist and a central figure in the cultural life of Australia, contributing significantly to the development of contemporary art in this country. The current exhibition ‘pas de deux – drawings and dolls’ is an homage to the artist who recently passed away. The exhibition brings together some of the artist’s most personal work: drawings and soft-sculpture dolls from her home and studio where she kept them close for many decades.
