We are thrilled to announce STARWARD Distillery and Mt. Uncle Distillery’s Botanic Australis gin as our beverage partners at this year’s Australia Day Gala. We are delighted to introduce our second performer for the event, Australian soprano, Samantha Clark.

Join us on January 29th as we celebrate Australia Day in true Aussie fashion with signature beverages from our homegrown legends, STARWARD Distillery whisky and Mt. Uncle Distillery’s Botanic Australis gin. Hosted at the magnificent Simpsons at the Savoy, accompany your bespoke Australian cocktails with delicious canapés, Australian wine and beers, musical entertainment from some of Australia’s brightest young musicians and an exclusive fundraising raffle.
Featuring performances by Australian Music Foundation awardees Samantha Clarke and Emily Sun, the evening will also be a feast for the ears with beautiful pieces on the violin and a special soprano solo.
Your ticket includes a £5 contribution towards helping the AMF in their mission to promote and celebrate Australian musical life, offering musicians support in their studies and performances across the globe.

Our Performers
Samantha Clarke, Soprano
Samantha is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Leverhulme Royal Northern College of Music Award, the Dame Eva Turner Award, the Michael and Joyce Kennedy Strauss Award, the RNCM Gold Medal and the AMF 2017 Nora Goodridge Developing Artist Award.
She made her professional debut as Pamina in Mozart’s The Magic Flute at Longborough in 2017, followed by the role of Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni with British Youth Opera.
Supported by the AMF Nora Goodridge Emerging Artist Award, Samantha is currently studying at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama towards her Artist Diploma in Opera studies.
Emily Sun, Violinist and2018 ABC Australian Young Performer of the Year
Emily Sun is an Australian violinist who is rapidly gaining international recognition as a soloist. She has been invited as a soloist by many orchestras across the United States, Asian and Europe.
She is also a prize winner of many international competitions including Yampolsky International Violin Competition (Russia), Bromsgrove International Competition (UK), Royal-Overseas-League Music Competition (UK) Brahms International Competition (Austria) and Lipizer International Violin Competition (Italy).
Emily was supported by the Australian Music Foundation in her studies at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and Royal College of Music and is set to release her debut album in the 19/20 season.
