During the Annual General Meeting which took place on 27 January 2021, a motion to change the name of ABIE France to the “French Australian Business Council” (FABC) was put forward. All were in favour of the new name and the motion was approved.

It has since come to our attention that this name is very similar to the name MEDEF-I uses in English for its France Australia committee. To avoid any confusion and maintain our good relations with MEDEF-I, the Board proposes to change the name to: “Australia France Business Association” (AFBA).

We hereby invite you to participate in an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) of ABIE France, in order to approve the proposed new name.

When: Tuesday, 6 July 2021 at 10am CEST

Where: Online via Zoom – Zoom link details will be sent to participants in advance
