On 19 June 2019, ABIE officially welcomed Monash University as a new Corporate Member, the first Australian university to become a member of the association.

Monash’s membership will assist expand the university’s presence and industry engagement, and develop further partnerships in Europe.

The University was first established in Melbourne in 1958 and has grown to become the largest Australian university, with over 78,000 students and nearly 400,000 alumni globally. Monash has established itself as a leading, respected institution across sectors, and the breadth of its activities both in research and its application is expansive. Through its ambitious agenda of enterprise, discovery and place-making, Monash has had real-world impact.

The University will continue to forge and nurture deep connections with industry, government and community to achieve more, and through this partnership with ABIE, looks forward to building further relationships with industry in France.
