On the 13^thof May, 2 days after ‘de-confinement’ began in France, ABIE members logged in for a Zoom webinar to explore some of the legal and operational challenges they may face over the coming months.

ABIE Board Members Frederic Calinaud, Employment Lawyer and Partner at Calinaud David Avocats and Bruno Charrade, CEO International at Transdev both presented an informative and useful summary of the current situation and challenges ahead (below), with interesting comparisons between France and Australia.

The event was then opened up for questions which prompted a lively discussion about this very timely subject.

With participants from the ABIE network in a number of countries across Europe, this was clearly a pertinent topic as countries try to move forward and re-open their economies while remaining safe.
