Welcome to our new Corporate Member Trade and Investment Queensland

We are delighted to announce that Trade and Investment Queensland (TIQ), the Queensland Government’s dedicated global business promotion agency, has recently become a Corporate member of AFBA.

TIQ exists to help Queensland exporters take their products to world markets and promotes Queensland as the perfect place for investment. TIQ Europe and the Queensland Agent-General have held long-standing relationships with AFBA and the French business community and we look forward to growing these ties as the Queensland-France trading relationship goes from strength to strength. France and Europe are significant investors in Queensland and exciting areas of business opportunity are emerging in clean energy and renewables, critical minerals, major infrastructure, the bioeconomy, tourism and the sports economy, noting of course that both France and Queensland are future hosts of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, in Paris in 2024 and Brisbane in 2032!
